I’ve always been obsessed with Gunne Sax dresses and finally decided to use that inspiration on the Prairie skirt. There’s ribbon and lace detail added around the bottom ruffle and waistband. Of course, there’s pockets and buttons down the front that you can open up to show a little more leg. This fabric is a striped linen with a floral cotton ruffle and pockets.

The Prairie skirt tells a timeless tale of romance and grit. Wear it and embody your inner pioneer.

Fit: Runs on the small side. Unbutton from the bottom to show some leg. Elastic in the back of waist gives only a slight adjustment in sizing. Best for average-curved to straight body shapes.

Material: Greyish brown striped linen deadstock fabric with a brown and grey floral cotton ruffle. Easy to dress up or down. Deadstock is what is left over when larger fashion houses discard their fabric and by using it, we are striving to keep more fabric out of landfills. Details: Bottom ruffle, elastic at the back of the waistband, buttons down the front, pockets, ribbon and lace trim accents. The pockets are made of contrast fabric. So cute paired with a denim jacket.
