White Bear Dress in Tartan

(1 customer review)

Introducing the White Bear Dress! My good friend and shop neighbor, Shauna White Bear makes incredible moccasins. She is also a collector of the best vintage pieces. One day, she brought over a dress that she loved that was falling apart and was telling me how much she loved it. We decided it should be the White Bear Dress and sent it off to my pattern maker with some minor adjustments.

Here she is, the White Bear Dress. The prairie princess dress of your dreams! Note these dresses are running small and you’ll want to size up. Please read the measurement chart below before ordering. Smalls and Mediums will be available early May, all other sizes are available now. Shown here with the Western Rose Belt.

Fit: tight at the waist, larger in the bust, long but will work on a petite frame of 5′

Material: This fabric is a lighter weight plaid cotton with a cotton navy ruffle. Made from deadstock material. Deadstock is the leftover fabric from other fashion houses. By using it, we are not participating in the new fabric industry, which is very toxic to the earth. Want to know more about deadstock fabric?

This is one of my favorite dresses from Revivall. The measurements are correct where it runs small. I usually wear a small/medium (27-28” waist) and the large fits my waist and arms perfectly. That is also taking into account that I am newly pregnant and starting to show so the waist fits perfectly now but would be slightly roomier pre-pregnancy.
