Perfect for work or play, this waxed cotton pinafore dress is reminiscent of an apron, but feels more like a jumper. The fabric is a sandy tan color. Try wearing it over another dress or with leggings and a tee underneath. Two large front pockets carry all of your eggs in one basket! (as long as you don’t have, like, 40 chickens) Elastic in the back of the waistband makes it your best friend on those days when you want to have that second helping of desert 🙂 You may want to size up if you want to layer it. Shown here with the Victorian Lace Blouse.

Practical and beautiful, our work pinafores are a timeless staple that will make all your jobs more enjoyable. It can be worn multiple ways: cross the straps or leave them straight, wear the bib up or down — you can style this pinafore differently depending on the day.

Fit: Best for average to taller heights; if you’re on the petite side, the hem can be cut and worn raw. Elastic through the back makes the fit very forgiving in the waist. Runs a bit on the smaller side, so please pay attention to the waist and hip measurements.

Material: Deadstock heavyweight waxed cotton, smooth and substantial with worn texture that reminds us of a constellation. Similar in weight and texture to an outback coat.

Details: Traditional overall tacks and slides make torso length adjustable.

Deadstock is the leftover fabric from other fashion houses. By using it, we are not participating in the new fabric industry, which is very toxic to the earth. Want to know more about deadstock fabric?

Super cute dress made in a waxed material which is great for the PNW. I was expecting the material to be thicker/stiffer like the original Filson tin jackets, but it’s not like that. It’s a thinner/lighter waxed material that in my opinion is more preferred for a dress. It’s not realistic for me to do ranch work in a dress, but in the cooler/wet seasons it’s nice to jump out of my coveralls when I leave the farm & into this dress w wool leggings if I have to run into town. I feel & look more put together. I’m 5’5” & around a 36B & the medium fits w a wool sweater underneath.

I love this piece so much! It’s unique and so cool, yet also completely functional for getting work done!

This piece is both the apron and dress of my dreams! The fabric is a comfortable weight and I love that it repels my chore spills (and the rain) beautifully.
