The Campfire Duster is a collaboration with our friends at Alpacas of Montana. We launched these sweaters last year and they quickly became our best sellers.  Using their mill in Peru,  we made another batch of sweaters this year.

The Campfire Duster is a super soft, cozy, durable, warm, stylish, & practical sweater duster. With deep button closed side pockets and buttons down the front, this sweater is a great transition piece. It works well as a jacket, sweater, or robe to wear around the house. This color is similar to the Agate from last year but is a grey color with maroon and caramel colored specks. The buttons are also dark instead of light.

They all have suede elbow patches and dark bone buttons. Due to an increase cost in production, the price has gone up this year.

*Dry cleaning suggested

Our Campfire Duster will become your favorite thing to grab throughout the chilly months ahead. In milder climates, it is heavy enough to be worn as a jacket.

Fit: Runs true to size. Pay attention to the hip measurement. If you button the sweater all the way down, it may pull at hips if you’re larger than the size’s hip measurement and you might want to size up. The arms are long; if you have shorter arms, you can comfortably roll the sleeve. Roomy under the armpit, so it is easy to wear with layers. Works well for all heights.

Material: Alpaca fleece is as soft as cashmere, warmer than sheep’s wool, hypo-allergenic, and almost completely waterproof, according to our friends at Alpacas of Montana. This is a substantial sweater, with 3 pounds of fiber, so please store it folded or draped over a chair as hanging may cause it to become misshapen. For sensitive skin, wearing a layer underneath is suggested. But because the fiber is soft, many people wear the sweater as a robe or housecoat directly against the skin.

Features: 65% Super Fine Alpaca, viscose and Tencel grey-colored fiber with flecks of caramel and maroon.

Rust suede elbow patches

Bone buttons (large down the front, and smaller ones to close the side pockets). One large spare button is included.

Made in Peru by Alpacas of Montana.

Drycleaning recommended.

I am obsessed with this sweater!!! I’m curvy and tall and I haven’t take this sweater off since I received it! I liked it so much I ordered it in both colors. It’s a perfect layer for all seasons in Montana. I love the elbow patches, the buttons, and the attention to detail. If you are on the fence purchase this sweater, you will not regret it!

I wear my duster all the time (literally). It is a wonderful layering piece. You can wear it as a jacket or for an extra layer of warmth under a heavy jacket or over another sweater or sweatshirt. I get so many compliments on this sweater and people always want to touch it. The color goes with anything. It’s definitely my go to for being warm and cozy or being cute and stylish.

The quality of this sweater is outstanding. I love the look and feel of it so much. It is surprisingly warm (if you are familiar with alpaca wool it is not so surprising) and cozy without being too fluffy (something that always bothers me with cashmere). The sizing recommendations were spot on, it fits exactly as described.

The only sweater coat you’ll ever need. I first bought the brown color and after wearing it every day for a month I pulled the trigger on buying the gray color. This sweater is the absolute best. It is warm, ultra versatile, it has a slimming cut, durable, and can be dressed up or down. It is the sweater of my dreams, and my only regret is that I did not pull the trigger the first year these sweaters came out.
