*This year’s Merino Wool fabric is lighter weight than those shown in the photos from last year. It has a heavier drape, more similar to the Rosemary Dress in Peacock Blue.

I designed this dress based on one belonging to my grandmother. I found it in her closet after she passed away, and it became my favorite dress. When I went on a cross-country road trip, this was the dress I wore because of it’s versatility. If you want to read about it’s history, click here.  It can be dressy or casual, a little sexy or demure (depending on if you tie the neck or leave it open).  The fabric is a lightweight black Merino Wool .  Shown here with the Vintage Style Petticoat.

Fit: Flattering on everybody, and great on curvy figures as well. This style will emphasize curves on more straight body shapes. Longer in the torso, feminine silhouette.

Material: This fabric is a light weight soft merino wool. Made from deadstock material, this Rosemary dress is easy to wear and easy on the planet. Deadstock is the leftover fabric from other fashion houses. By using it, we are not participating in the new fabric industry, which is very toxic to the earth. Back waist tie and neck tie, which can be left open or tied for more coverage.

Hidden side pockets.

This has been my absolute favorite dress for everything! From hiking to my first date with my fiance. It is warm, sexy and has pockets! Also merino wool is the best fabric for any king of cold weather. I’ve had this dress for going on 6 years and it is still going strong!
