Fit: Pay attention to the hip measurement because the waist can be cinched. The skirt will give you curves even if you don’t have them to begin with. Sizing is extremely forgiving because though it is designed to fit more high-waisted, it can be worn lower on the hips. Waist can be further adjusted with the cinch at the back.
Material: Dark green colored, thick, high quality wool deadstock fabric. Deadstock is what is left over when larger fashion houses discard their fabric and by using it, we are striving to keep more fabric out of landfills. Details: Though it is not a traditional riding skirt, I have ridden in it. Buttons can be undone from the bottom up to show a bit of leg. Super cute styled with a petticoat and/or with packer boot.

I hit “buy” within a minute of opening the newsletter that featured this skirt. It arrived today and it is even more fabulous than I dared to hope. I have already worn a Lacey Jean skirt for two winter seasons and was hoping to find one made of thicker wool. The fabric is heavy and absolutely stunning. I have researched all four corners of the internet and there is just no other company that makes skirts of such high quality for such a fair price. Love it.

Soooo cute! I have loved this style for at least a year and when it came out in green wool, I caved. I’m so glad I did because it’s even better in person. I’m tall at 6’1″ and this longer length is more of a midi skirt hitting just below the knee in front. Fit around the waist is perfect, but the fabric has no give at all–I don’t know if it will relax with wear. Either way, I love everything about it from how it looks to how warm and cozy it feels.
