Reminiscent of a riding skirt, this vintage looking skirt looks straight out of another time!  With the fitted yoke waist detail, this cream colored, soft wool  skirt is flattering and feminine. There is a cinch closure in the back that allows you to adjust to your perfect waist size. Add the two front and two back pleats and it’s flow-y enough to move with you as you work around the farm. Antique brass buttons down the front add for a vintage feel and pockets, because, you know, they’re essential. The lining at the waist and pockets is a precious polkadot cotton.

Lacey Jean flatters nearly every figure.

Fit: Pay attention to the hip measurement because the waist can be cinched. The skirt will give you curves even if you don’t have them to begin with. Sizing is extremely forgiving because though it is designed to fit more high-waisted, it can be worn lower on the hips. Waist can be further adjusted with the cinch at the back.

Material: Cream colored very soft high quality wool deadstock fabric. Deadstock is what is left over when larger fashion houses discard their fabric and by using it, we are striving to keep more fabric out of landfills. Details: Though it is not a traditional riding skirt, I have ridden in it. Buttons can be undone from the bottom up to show a bit of leg. Super cute styled with a petticoat and/or with packer boot.
