Ashley Mae Dress in Paradise

Our customers always inspire us and this dress was no exception. Ashley Mae is an inspiration to many. She plays fiddle and makes up the other half of Lost Dog Street Band. She reached out with a dress she thought we might like to pattern and we changed a few things to make it unique, like the corset up back detail and big pockets. The fabric is a deadstock red floral rayon.
This dress runs big as it’s meant to be slightly oversized and cinched. Models are wearing a size Small and Medium with the Vintage Style Petticoat. Measurements are of the garment but the waist and bust are adjustable with the cinching in the back.
This is an easy, throw-on piece. Pair with a jean jacket and boots. Cinch up the back or leave it loose

I’m so glad I finally purchased a Revivall dress. My expectations were high and yet the Ashley Mae still blew me away! This fabric is so soft, lightweight, and comfortable (it’s like wearing sweatpants but I mean that in the best way!) The material is perfect for the warm weather right now but I know it will layer beautifully into the fall and winter. I really love a dress that can see me through all four (hundred) Michigan seasons. It fits great too: my measurements are 34-29-41 and the small fits very well, enough to cinch but not too tight. I already know this is going to become a staple piece for me, and all of this on top of supporting a truly incredible small business has made the investment 100% worth it. Also, can confirm the Calico belt pairs super well with this dress!!

Love this dress so much! It’s actually the only dress I bought in 2026, since I’m trying to be super intentional with spending and keep a smaller wardrobe. But I could not resist. The cinch detail sets it apart for me, and makes it super flexible as a nursing mom that still sees some fluctuations in sizing. The buttons add a wonderful weight and feel, pockets are generous. I’m 5’3″ and found the length great. It of course pairs beautifully with my Revivall belt. With my experience of the quality of her pieces, I expect this dress to last many many years.
