As part of our zero waste initiative, we wanted to use up the larger pieces of leftover fabrics from past collections. It takes many hours to cut, sew & layout 5″ squares together for the body of the skirt. It’s a labor of love to create this special limited edition piece.

The design is made from our petticoat pattern but with buttons down the front. It’s a simple A-line design. There are 2 large pockets (of course) and elastic in the back of the waistband.

In line with our mission to be as kind as possible to the planet, this patchwork skirt is made from 5″ squares of our scrap fabric from previous seasons.

Fit: Traditional A-line cut, more of a flowy feel to the skirt as most of the scraps in this colorway are rayons.

Material: All of our fabric used is deadstock. Deadstock is the leftover fabric from other fashion houses. By using it, we are not participating in the new fabric industry, which is very toxic to the earth. Want to know more about deadstock fabric?
