Our customers always inspire us and this dress was no exception. Ashley Mae is an inspiration to many. She plays fiddle and makes up the other half of Lost Dog Street Band. She’s an artist, quilter, and screen printer. We’ve been a fan for many years and she loves to wear her RevivALL pieces, so it was extra exciting when she reached out with a dress she thought we might like to pattern.

As with any vintage dress we re-make, we always change a few things to make it unique. This dress has a square neckline, antique brass buttons down the front, pockets, and a lace up back to get the fit around the waist perfect.

This dress runs big as it’s meant to be slightly oversized and cinched. Shown with the Prairie Blouse in Daphne and the Dyed Vintage petticoat

This is an easy, throw-on piece. Pair with a jean jacket and boots. Cinch up the back or leave it loose

Fit: Slightly oversized but with corseted back.

Material: wool tweed deadstock fabric. Deadstock is what is left over when larger fashion houses discard their fabric and by using it, we are striving to keep more fabric out of landfills.
