The RevivALL/White Bear Moccasin collaboration has been in the works ever since our friendship began in Bozeman almost 2 years ago. Shauna White Bear is a Native American moccasin maker from the Arikara tribe out of North Dakota. She taught herself how to make moccasins from Buffalo hides. Full of grainy texture, buffalo hide is 5x stronger than cowhide. She makes custom moccasins out of a cobbler shop here in our town and her beautiful face is all over this website.
Since we’ve collaborated on many photo shoots, we thought it was about time to do a collaboration design. I gave her some of the Peony Pony vintage fabric, vintage lace trim, and the rest is history. Wearing moccasins allows you to connect with the earth without being barefoot and I’ve found it greatly improves my ability to be grounded.
