I designed this dress based on one belonging to my grandmother. I found it in her closet after she passed away, and it became my favorite dress. When I went on a cross-country road trip, this was the dress I wore because of it’s versatility. It can be dressy or casual, a little sexy or demure (depending on if you tie the neck or leave it open). The fabric is a dusty blue cotton jersey.

It’s shown here in size XL with the Vintage-Style Cotton Petticoat.

Made from deadstock material, this soft, thick, knit cotton fabric is easy to wear and easy on the planet. Deadstock is the leftover fabric from other fashion houses. By using it, we are not participating in the new fabric industry, which is very toxic to the earth.

Back waist tie and neck tie, back zipper.

Hidden side pockets.

Neck tie can be left open or tied for more coverage.

The cut of this dress is absolute perfection. I did size down per the description and I’m glad I did. Just the fit I was wanting. It’s very feminine but still practical for an every day dress. Exactly my style ♥️

I’m really loving this dress! It fits perfectly and is so nice for everyday wear… as comfortable as my house clothes, but like I put on real clothes I could leave the house in. I did size down, and I’m really glad I did. Note, this fabric is more substantial than I was expecting, which is great right now to ward off the winter chill. I’ll see how it wears as the weather warms (I’m betting it’ll still be great for sprint and fall at least!)

I adore the perfect fit of this dress. The fabric is the perfect weight for layering in the cold but not so heavy that it can’t be worn as is on warmer days. It fits and flatters my body perfectly. So feminine. I want more!
