This is based on a dress that was my grandmother’s. I found it in her closet after she passed away and it became my favorite dress. When I went on a cross country road trip, this was the dress I took because of it’s versatility. It can be dressy or casual, a little sexy, or demure (depending on if you tie the neck or leave it open). The fabric is a soft, cotton with vintage eyelet lace trim.

Made from dead stock material, this super soft quilt print cotton fabric with tiny blue flowers is easy to wear and easy on the planet. Dead stock is the left overs from other fashion houses. By using it, we are not participating in the new fabric industry, which is very toxic to the earth.

Neck tie can be left open or tied for more coverage

I am so impressed by how well this dress fits. I am a small and it’s fitted/flattering but comfortable. Cute with one of my belts or without. It’s more summery (thin/unlined) but I have winterizing plans with tall brown boots and a cardigan or even a blazer looks cool. Love it!
