When this fabric came to my attention, I knew it had to be made into something simple. Let the fabric speak for itself, so here you go… a simple A-line wool maxi skirt with side zipper. There’s pockets, of course, and elastic in the back of the waistband! This material is genuine vintage wool plaid fabric. If it is too long it is an easy hem job for even the most basic seamstress.

MATERIAL- Vintage thick plaid wool dead stock material. Dead stock is what is left over when larger fashion houses discard their fabric and by using it, we are striving to keep more fabric out of landfills. This also ensures we are not participating in the new fabric industry, which is extremely harmful on our planet.
