Our customers always inspire us and this dress was no exception. Ashley Mae is an inspiration to many. She plays fiddle and makes up the other half of Lost Dog Street Band. She’s an artist, quilter, and screen printer. We’ve been a fan for many years and she loves to wear her RevivALL pieces, so it was extra exciting when she reached out with a dress she thought we might like to pattern.
As with any vintage dress we re-make, we always change a few things to make it unique. This dress has a square neckline, antique brass buttons down the front, pockets, and a lace up back to get the fit around the waist perfect. The fabric is a brownish/grey linen. This fabric is not deadstock.
This dress runs big as it’s meant to be slightly oversized and cinched. Model is wearing a size medium and it could be cinched up more. Shown with the matching Linen Betty Blouse in Dovetail, the Cantina Vest in Houndstooth wool (coming soon) and Long Cotton Petticoat
This is an easy, throw-on piece. Pair with a jean jacket and boots. Cinch up the back or leave it loose

I call this my emotional support dress. It makes me feel so confident and pretty wearing it. The linen has a wonderful texture and I can’t wait to see how it softens over years of use. You can pair it with any top, really, as long as it isn’t bulky on the hem.
