70s Easy Tee
Sometimes when fabric shopping, we have a design and look for fabric to be made into that design. Sometimes, we see a fabric and it tells us what design it wants to be made into. That’s what happened here. When I found this fabric, I immediately pictured the shirt it would be made in to. It had to have a little bit of a 70s feel and be a loose fit. After a few samples that weren’t quite right, I added a cap sleeve, rounded neck and voila!
This top is easy to wear. It’s not cropped and not too long (so if you tuck it in, it won’t get bunchy) and goes perfectly with a pair of high waisted vintage jeans, the navy Lacey Jean, or some denim overalls.
