Perfect for layering and working, this pinafore dress is reminiscent of an apron, but feels more like a jumper. Try wearing it over another dress or leggings, or with just a shirt underneath. Two large front pockets carry all of your eggs in one basket! (as long as you don’t have, like, 40 chickens) Elastic in the back of the waistband makes it your best friend on those days when you want to have that second helping of desert 🙂
This pinafore is made from mid-weight wool blend dark maroon pinstripe fabric. Model is 4″11″ and wearing a size medium.
Traditional overall tacks and slides are adjustable for torso length.

FIT: Best for average to taller heights (see length measurement) though shown a model that is 4’11”. Runs a bit on the smaller side, so please pay attention to the waist and hip measurements.
MATERIAL- maroon striped wool blend deadstock fabric. Deadstock is what is left over when larger fashion houses discard their fabric and by using it, we are striving to keep more fabric out of landfills. Love, love, love this pinafore! The wool fabric is really nice: it’s lightweight, but warm. I also like the elastic on the back waist. The quality hardware with the overall buckles and the metal zipper on the side is wonderful. The pockets are perfectly deep: they can hold your phone, wallet, keys, a small book or 2, and would also be perfect for collecting eggs. I 100% recommend this pinafore.
For size reference: I’m 5’6″, 140ish lbs, and bought an XL, which is a little loose, but gives room to adjust the straps (adjusting the length, & whether to criss-cross or not), and also allows me to wear over teeshirts, turtlenecks, or layered tees and sweaters. I also recommend getting the lacy petticoat to wear underneath; wool can be a little itchy on me sometimes, and that provides the perfect layer to avoid any itchiness.
