These underbust vests were a pattern we revived from the archives. I used to make a dress style with these underbust tops 10 years ago and called it the St. Lali Girl Dress. My nickname used to be Lali & these dresses reminded me of the dresses on the St. Pauli Girl Beer ads.

The Underbust Vest has a hook and eye closure on center front. They are perfect paired with the Peasant Blouse, Wilderness Dress, or a fitted top. It’s shown here with the Midi Holly Hobbie Dress. They stop right at the natural waist so they go best with a high waisted bottom.

Small- Shoulder point to shoulder point- 12″ Waist 29″

Medium-Shoulder point to shoulder point- 13″ Waist 34″

Large-Shoulder point to shoulder point- 14.5″ Waist 37″

X-Large-Shoulder point to shoulder point- 15″ Waist 39″

Fit: Best for small to average-sized chests. Style will accentuate the bust.

Details: Hook and eye front closure.

Material: This underbust vest is made from green cotton deadstock fabric.  Deadstock is what’s left over when larger fashion houses discard their fabric and by using it, we are striving to keep more fabric out of landfills.
