Waxed Cotton Work Pinafore-Small

*This fabric is different from last year. It isn’t as wax-y feeling and is more like an oil cloth feel. It’s a little lighter weight as well but still water resistant.
Perfect for work or play, this waxed cotton pinafore dress is reminiscent of an apron, but feels more like a jumper. The fabric is a green-ish brown color. Try wearing it over another dress or with leggings and a tee underneath. Two large front pockets carry all of your eggs in one basket! (as long as you don’t have, like, 40 chickens) Elastic in the back of the waistband makes it your best friend on those days when you want to have that second helping of desert 🙂

I live on a farm and this work pinafore just goes on over anything I’m wearing when I muck around feeding pigs and chickens. I leave it by the front door so I can just slip it on over my outfit without getting all gross. Plus the dirt just wipes off of the waxed canvas so I can still wear it out on the town. I sized up so that I could layer underneath and also wore it while I was pregnant! A must have for winter workware!

This is, by far, my favorite piece of clothing! I purchased it about a year ago and fell in love. Recently, I lost quite a bit of weight, so it no longer fit properly. SO… I gifted it to a friend and purchased another in a smaller size because I absolutely refuse to live without it. 🙂
For reference, I am approximately a size ten and fit perfectly into the medium.
It’s comfortable, fantastically functional, and looks makes me look glorious!
